We are a California-based and Veteran-owned company specializing in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair services.

Company History and Foundation

Veterans Heating and Cooling was founded in 2024 by an Iraq and Afghanistan veteran. The company was established to provide excellent heating and air conditioning services to the North County San Diego community and to create a supportive community for veterans. Many veterans experience a loss of community after leaving the service, and our company aims to rebuild that sense of belonging and purpose by providing employment opportunities and fostering a supportive work environment.

Meet Our Team

Steve Seber

Founder/President

Steve Seber is a Veteran, a Husband, and a Dad of two (Ollie, 5 and Millie, 3). He joined the Army after college and served multiple deployments in frontline tactical roles in Iraq and Afghanistan. After the Army, Steve attended graduate school and worked in corporate America. He founded Veterans Heating and Cooling to serve customers for their HVAC needs, and also to reconnect with the military community and support Veterans employment. In his free time, Steve coaches his son’s T-ball team, and supports his daughter in dance.

Thomas Shultz

Service Technician

My name is Thomas Shultz and I am a navy veteran and I was stationed in Pearl Harbor, HI andCoronado, CA with five deployments between these two duty stations. I worked as anundesignated seaman for two years and after that I was able to choose an actual rate whichwas Retail Specialist. As a retail specialist my role was to order stock from vendors, onload thestock to the ship with little to no discrepancies, supervise over the ship store, vending machines,laundry, and the barbershop. I was an inspiration to my other seven siblings when going into themilitary, they followed in my footsteps. After my time in the military I decided that I enjoyedworking with my hands and helping people so I went to a trade school for HVAC and I excelledin it. I was an honor roll student and had perfect attendance, I also volunteered as a student ambassador and I helped students and teachers with anything they needed.
